Explore the world in a whole new way! Learn how to operate a Segway PT and then take control as part of a guided tour through a varied environment, incorporating woodland trails and bridleways.
We begin with a briefing and training session. You will be introduced to the Segway Personal Transporter and learn how to use it. We will make sure you are comfortable and able to operate it safely. Don't worry - they are very easy to use. Most people "get it" in less than 5 minutes - but we'll spend longer than that putting you at ease.
This woodland tour mixes woodland trails, pavements and bridleways to extend the journey and give you more "gliding" time. Put your Segway to the test on this Adventure Tour!!
The cost of your tour includes lunch in the onsite cafe after your tour.
Minimum age for children is 14 and they must be accompanied on the tour by an adult. The weight limit for this event is 18 stone.
You will be asked to sign a disclaimer on arrival. The conditions stipulate that all riders have to sign the disclaimer to ensure they are aware of the risks and agree to take responsibility for their actions. Our insurance company also require that you sign the disclaimer. Therefore, if you do not sign the disclaimer on the day, you will not be allowed to participate and you will not receive a refund.
Please wear comfortable clothing that is appropriate for the weather. This experience takes place outside and in almost all weather conditions. Even if it is only mildly cold, we recommend you bring along a coat and gloves to keep you warm. Remember, you will be gliding along at up to 12.5 MPH - this adds to the breeze whatever the weather. It is also possible you may get some dirt on your clothes
